But it is not needed anyway to progress further But the bamboo smoker should work in the rain because it has an own banana leaf roof but...... it does not. WebI just know that when cannibals attack my base, some go straight to the drying rack and start eating. Bastards. They must be passing through your base when you're out exploring and chowing down. WebYes. If it’s raining, the meat will not dry. Make sure the rack is under cover. Rain will reverse the drying process. Hm. I never noticed that it did. Then again, I've never built one, only used ones in the tribal villages. I guess to be helpful, the ones you find in the world are unaffected by rain.

Just make sure you build a frame first, then a roof on top of it, and then the drier underneath it.
